Hi, I'm Marije, the person behind Barks & Braids! With a degree in Animal Health and Behavior, and my own dog Mia, I've seen how powerful enrichment can really be. Barks & Braids has started from the belief that every dog deserves a chance to feel calm, enough stimulated and happy. That doesn't mean just physically tired, but mentally fulfilled. 

In our webshop you'll find thoughtfully chosen products to help balance your and your dogs daily life. Enrichment should be simple, fun and effective for every dog and their human.

Orders and processing

How long does it take to process an order?

All orders are processed and packed within 1 - 3 days, even during holidays or busy periods. 

Will I get a comfirmation email?

Yes! You'll receive a confirmation email right after placing your order. You will receive another email when your package is being a shipped, including tracking info. 

Can I change or cancel my order

If you want to change or cancel your order, please contact us within 24 hours after placing your order. Once an order has been processed or shipped we're unable to make any changes. 

Shipping

Do you ship worldwide?

Yes! We're proud to offer worldwide shipping, so every dog can enjoy their enrichment. No matter where they live!

How long does shipping take?

Delivery time depends on your location:

Netherlands: up to 2 days

Europe: up to 5 - 10 businessdays

Worldwide: 10 - 15 businessdays

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping costs are automatically calculated at checkout based on your delivery adress and the size of your order. 

My tracking number isn't updating, what should I do?

It can take up a few days for the tracking updates to appear, especially with worldwide shipping. If there's still no change after 3 businessdays, you can get in touch with us and we'll look into it. 

Returns and exchanges

Do you accept returns?

Yes, we accept returns within 14 days after delivery if the item is unused and in it's original state and packaging. 

How do I start a return?

To start a return you can just get in touch with us by email, social media or website and we'll guide you through the steps. 

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

Return shipping costs are the customers responsibility, unless you've received a damaged or incorrect item. 

My item arrived damanged, what should I do?

We're so sorry! Please get in touch with us by email, social media or our website and send us a clear picture of the damaged product within 48 hours after delivery. We'll send you a replacement or refund. 

When can I expect my refund?

Once your return is received and approved, refunds are processed within 1 - 3 businessdays, back to your original payment method.

What do you ask from ambassadors?

We ask ambassadors to share at least every month good quality content featuring our products. This can be through stories, pictures or reels. We love authenticity over perfection!

Do ambassadors need a certain amount of followers?

Not at all! We care more about passion and engagement then your follower count.
